Understanding Vector and Bitmap

 VECTOR
The vector is a set of mathematical instructions outlined in the shapes, lines, danbagian-bagain other correspondences in an image. And if the file size is relatively small resized (as pictured below) quality remains. Example vektoradalah file. Wmf, swf, cdr and. Ai. And is often used to create logos, animations, illustrations, cartoons, clipart dsb.2.

BITMAP
Bitmap is a type of raster image. Relying on the number of pixels in a pixel unit tertentu.Semakin meeting, the better the image quality. Conversely, if forced diperbesarakan is broken (as pictured below). The resulting large files tend besar.Contoh bitmap is. Bmp,. Jpg,. Gif

Elements of Graphic Design Basics

1.Garis (Line)
A line is a design element that connects the point to point one point to another point that could draw a curved shape (curve) or straight (straight). The line is a basic element for building design or construction forms. In the duni a visual communications often we use the dotted line, solid line, and the dotted line.

2. Shape (Shape)
Form is everything that has a diameter of height and width. The basic form known to man is a box (rectangle), circle (circle), and triangle (triangle). In visual communication design betuk we will learn the basic and derived forms. While the category of nature, the shape can be categorized into three, namely:

(1) Letter (Character): represented in a visual form that can be used to establish writing as a representative of the verbal language with direct visual forms, such as A, B, C, etc..

(2) Symbol (Symbol): represented in a visual form that represents the shape of objects in a simple and understandable to the public as a symbol or emblem to describe a form of real objects, such as images of people, stars, the sun in the form of simple (symbol), not in tangible form (with details).

(3)
Real Form (Form)
: This form truly reflects the physical condition of an object. Such a detailed picture of human, animal or other object.

3. Texture
Texture is the surface appearance (style) of an object that can be assessed in a way be seen or touched. That in practice, the texture is often categorized as a pattern of an object surface, such as carpet surfaces, clothing, bark, paint the walls, paint canvas, and so forth.

4.
Space

Space is the distance between a form to another form, the practice of design elements can be used to give the effect of aesthetic design and graphic design dynamics. For example, without the space where you will not know which words and sentences or paragraphs. Without space you do not know where to look first, when to read and when to stop. In the form of physical identification of the space is classified into two elements, namely the object (figure) and the background (background).

5. Size
Size is another element in the design that defines the size of an object. By using these elements you can create contrast and emphasis (emphasis) on the object of your design so that people will know where to be seen or read first.

Definition and meaning of color

Color is a very important element in Graphic Design. Color plays an important role in Graphic Design, therefore we must understand the meaning of color, do not get us wrong color for example to create a website for the banks but to use the dominant color black! (Customers might hesitate and not trusted because of ill-fitting, black theme suitable for web games, hacking tools, Website photo Gallery, Photo Slide). So avoid mistakes in choosing colors.

In a lesson in the School Understanding color can be interpreted as a particular spectrum is contained in a perfect light / white. In the world of design, color could mean a certain reflection of light is affected by the pigment located in the surface of the object. For example, mixing magenta and cyan pigment with proper proportions and perfect white light illuminated will produce a sensation similar to a red color.

Colors can be grouped into different color groups are:
1. Neutral colors, are colors that no longer has a purity of color or in other words, is not a primary or secondary color. This color is a mixture of all three color components at once, but not in exactly the same composition.
2. Contrasting or complementary colors, are the colors opposite one another memorable. Color contrast can be obtained from the opposite color (cut midpoint triangle) consists of primary colors and secondary colors. But it did not rule out forming a contrast color to reject the value or color purity. Examples of contrasting color is red with green, yellow with purple and blue with orange.
3. Hot colors, is the range of colors in a semi-circle in the circle of colors ranging from red to yellow. This color is a symbol, joy, passion, anger and so on. Color impressive heat proximity.
4. Cool colors, are the colors in the range of half a circle within a circle of colors ranging from green to purple. This color is a symbol of tenderness, cool, comfortable and so on. Cool colors impressive distances.

Primary Colors

Primary colors of pigment color theory of Brewster are the basic colors. Other colors made up of a combination of primary colors. At first, people thought that the primary colors are composed of Red, Yellow, and Green. However, in further studies, said the three primary colors are: red (like blood), blue (like the sky or the sea), yellow (like egg yolk)It became known as the primary pigment colors used in the art world. Mix two primary colors produces a secondary color. Mixed secondary colors with primary colors produce tertiary colors.

CMYKIn the printing industry, to produce varied colors, applied use of subtractive primary colors: magenta, yellow and cyan in a variety of sizes.Secondary Coloris the color resulting from the mixture of two primary colors in a color space. For example, as shown below. In Graphics equipment, there are three primary colors of light: (R = Red) Red, (G = Green) green, (B = Blue) blue or the more we know that when combined in RGB composition will produce a variety of colors. For example, mixing 100% red, 0% green, 100% blue will produce a magenta color interpretation. In the computer we also know the various colors for the needs of Website and Graphic design by Hexadecimal code numbers. Here's a RGB color mix will form a new color:Red + Green = YellowRed + Blue = MagentaGreen + Blue = Cyan

In principle, the theory should be applicable to pigments for paint color too. But paint initially used, mixing long before the existence of modern color science, and because the pigment available at that time is also limited. Especially colors cyan and magenta pigments naturally hard to come by, so use blue and red. Thus, until now widely taught that red, yellow and blue are the primary colors, while orange / orange, green and purple are secondary colors. these differences and similarities of CMYK and RGBGiven the importance of color then let us know the meaning - the meaning of colors in Graphic Design / Logo Design:YELLOW = Sun, Light, Glory and Virtue Budi.RED = Fire, Spirit and Courage, Danger, Security, Beware.BLUE = Honesty, perseverance, and a broad view, peace, tranquility, trust yourself, balance, inner spirit.GREEN = Money, Luck, Attention, Beauty, SoothingWHITE = Coat Chastity and Honesty, ModestyORANGE = optimism and dynamismBLACK = charismatic, Elegant, MasculineThank you, may be useful
